Bugti leads ceremony, urges stand together against terror

QUETTA – Balochistan – (Special Correspondent/Web desk) QUETTA – At a flag-hoisting ceremony in the provincial capital on Thursday, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said the enemy had tried to challenge Pakistan’s independence, but the armed forces gave a strong and fitting reply. He added that the political and military leadership had brought the nation together, and the people of Balochistan were always ready to sacrifice for the country. The chief minister strongly criticized a small group trying to break Pakistan by force, accusing them of going against Baloch traditions and killing innocent people. He said the nation must face such terrorists with courage. Bugti also urged parliament, religious scholars, and all sections of society to play their part in defeating terrorism.

In Dera Bugti, an Independence Day rally began from Sangseela Mor and ended at Pakistan Chowk. The event saw large public participation, with the air filled with loud chants of “Pakistan Zindabad.
