Lahore: PCB Releases Anthem “Sadi Wari Oy” to Rally Support for T20 World Cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled a special anthem, “Sadi Wari Oy,” to energize the national team and its fans ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.
Performed by renowned artists Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, and Nihal Naseem, the anthem captures the spirit and aspirations of Pakistani fans, who steadfastly support the team through challenging times and celebrate its victories.
The release of “Sadi Wari Oy” comes as a morale booster following the national team’s narrow 2-1 series win against Ireland after the 2022 T20 World Cup. The PCB aims to unite and inspire both the team and its supporters as they look forward to the upcoming tournament.

Lahore, Upgradation work has commenced at Gaddafi Stadium in preparation for the 2025 Champions Trophy, with initial efforts focused on relocating offices from the main building.
Sources indicate that the offices of all directors and their departments are being moved to the Far End Building and the National Cricket Academy. This relocation is expected to be completed within the next week, after which the main building will be demolished and replaced with a modern structure closer to the ground.
The revamped design includes most hospitality boxes being moved to the front, and an increase in seating capacity for the Imran Khan and Fazal Mehmood enclosures.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced similar upgrades for Pindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Cricket Arena. These enhancements aim to boost fan seating capacities across all three venues in time for the Champions Trophy, scheduled for February-March 2025.
The PCB faces the significant challenge of completing the upgradation within six months. To meet this deadline, the services of foreign consultants and designers have been enlisted, and plans for hosting international matches during the renovation period are also underway.
