10 Killed in Dalbandin Chagai Accident Along Deadly RCD Road

Dalbandin Chagai Accident 10 Killed as Overloaded Car Hits Gas Bowser on Balochistan Highway

Dalbandin Chagai – (Web Desk) – At least 10 people lost their lives in the Dalbandin Chagai accident, 10 killed when a passenger car slammed into a gas bowser on the Dalbandin road in Balochistan’s Chagai district late Friday night.

The car was carrying around 15 passengers, well beyond its safe capacity. When it collided with the large fuel vehicle, the impact was devastating. Several people died on the spot, while others were left with serious injuries.

Rescue teams and local officials reached the scene quickly. The injured were transported to Prince Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin. According to DSP Chagai Abid Sherzai, five people are currently receiving treatment, and hospital staff say some remain in critical condition.

Police have detained the driver of the gas bowser and launched a formal investigation into the cause of the crash. The truck was reportedly travelling from Quetta to Taftan at the time of the collision.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and offered condolences to the families of the victims.

Sadly, this is not the first tragedy on this road. Back in January 2026, a similar accident near Yakmach in Chagai district claimed seven lives and injured three others. Among the victims were four women and two children.

Both crashes happened on the RCD Highway, a remote and challenging route linking Pakistan to Iran. Poor road conditions, speeding, and reckless driving have long been blamed for the repeated tragedies on this stretch.
