UK envoy lauds Pakistan diplomatic facilitation role

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Jane Marriott in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the evolving regional situation. Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan’s continued efforts to promote engagement and stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain essential tools for peacefully resolving disputes.

The British High Commissioner appreciated Pakistan’s role in facilitating diplomatic engagement and supported its efforts in bringing the United States and Iran to the negotiating table.

The meeting reflected ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom on regional peace and stability.
