One Dead, Seven Critically Injured in Gas Blast at Lahore Factory

LAHORE:(Web Desk) One person was killed and seven others critically injured following a gas leakage explosion at a factory in the Guru Mangat area of Lahore on Sunday.

 

According to Rescue 1122 sources, the blast triggered a fire that engulfed the factory’s baking area, while part of the building was also damaged.

A total of eight factory workers were affected in the incident.

Rescue teams rushed to the site after receiving information about the explosion and shifted the deceased and injured workers to Jinnah Hospital and Services Hospital for medical treatment.

The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Sajid, son of Farid.
