TTAP Condemns Islamabad Judges’ Transfer as Unconstitutional

Opposition Alliance Rejects Judges Transfer from Islamabad High Court

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan (TTAP) has strongly criticized the recent transfer of judges from the Islamabad High Court, calling it a serious challenge to judicial independence.

In its statement, the alliance argued that the move undermines the constitutional principle of separation of powers and reflects an effort to bring the judiciary under executive influence. TTAP warned that such actions could revive past practices of using administrative decisions to pressure or sideline political opponents.

Describing the transfers as “forced and unacceptable,” the group demanded an immediate review of the decision. It also urged members of the legal fraternity to take a clear stance against what it termed an unconstitutional development.
