Real-time surveillance continues to monitor shop closures across Lahore city
DC Lahore Leads Crackdown as Teams Seal Shops, Arrest Violators Across the City
Lahore – (Web Desk) – The Deputy Commissioner of Lahore personally led a full surveillance operation to monitor market closures across the city. Enforcement teams under Assistant Commissioners were also out in full force in different areas.
The teams checked violations in several towns including Model Town, Shalamar, Allama Iqbal, Cantt, City, Nishtar, Wagah and Ravi. Model Town saw the most action with 26 violations reported. Four restaurants and one cafe in G1 Market were sealed on the spot.
In total 21 shops were sealed in Model Town alone. The teams also slapped a fine of Rs520,000 on the violators.
Property was sealed in Shalamar for violations and three arrests were made.
Ten shops were sealed in Tehsil Allama Iqbal Town at Thokar while 10 shops were sealed in Tehsil City for time violation and 10 shops were sealed on Bahadurabad Road in Tehsil Nishtar on violation of SOPs.
Four shops were sealed in Raiwind and five people were arrested.

DC Lahore Ali Ejaz said said working hours strictly enforced in all tehsils and austerity measures are conserving resources.
Real-time monitoring immediately Implementation has been ensured, DC said.
Zero tolerance policy on violations is being implemented, fines and sealing have improved discipline, DC added.
