Rawalpindi CPO Action: Dhamial Police Corruption Three Officials Suspended

RAWALPINDI – Staff Reporter / Web Desk) – Rawalpindi CPO action against Dhamial police corruption has taken the city by storm this week. Three police officials from Dhamial police station were arrested right after a citizen filed a complaint against them.

The trouble started when a video went viral showing police staff taking a bribe of Rs150,000 from two young men. The men were on their way to Chakri Road when the officials allegedly stopped them and demanded money.

City Police Officer Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera took quick notice of the matter. He ordered an immediate inquiry into the citizen’s complaint. Once the claims were found true, he did not waste any time.

The CPO ordered the registration of an FIR against the police officials involved. He also directed police teams to arrest all three men without delay. Along with this, the Station House Officer, Sub-Inspector Anwarul Haq, was suspended too.

Haq was charge-sheeted for failing to keep an eye on his staff’s conduct. His negligence of duty played a big role in letting the corruption happen under his watch.

CPO Sukhera made his stance very clear on this issue. He said that corruption, misuse of power, or carelessness by any police officer will not be allowed at any cost. His words show that strict rules are now in place for the force.
