Punjab Health Department Issues Alert, Declares Six Tablet-B-Mann Batches Unsafe
LAHORE: (Staff Reporter) – The Punjab Department of Health and Population has issued a safety alert declaring six batches of Tablet-B-Mann, a medicine commonly used for nerve weakness and nerve pain, unfit for consumption.
According to the department, batches 087, 104, 107, 108, 111, and 117 have been identified as potentially hazardous to health and should not be used.
Punjab Orders Private Schools to Ensure Free Education Quota
Health authorities have directed all relevant officials to immediately remove the affected batches from pharmacies, medical stores, and the market to prevent their sale or distribution.
The department also warned that strict legal action will be taken under the Drug Act against pharmacies found stocking or selling the recalled batches after the alert.
Authorities have advised retailers and distributors to ensure the affected medicine batches are withdrawn without delay to protect public health.
