Private Schools Network Urges Democratic Participation Ahead of FBISE Elections

Private Schools Network Calls Key Strategy Meeting Ahead of FBISE Elections

Islamabad: Dr. Muhammad Afzal Babar, founder and central president of the Private Schools Network (PSN), emphasized the significance of democratic engagement within educational institutions during a recent media talk with central and zonal officials of the organization.

Dr. Babar urged private educational institutions to actively participate in the democratic process by electing responsible representatives for a three-year term through informed voting. He stressed that democratic practices within education are vital to achieving both national and international educational objectives.

Highlighting the competitive nature of the upcoming Board of Governors elections for the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Dr. Babar noted a particularly high level of interest for the matriculation-level seats, with both male and female candidates actively campaigning.

To strategize for the elections, the Private Schools Network’s core committee has scheduled a key meeting on June 13, 2025, at the organization’s central secretariat in Islamabad. Dr. Babar has called on all affiliated high schools to attend this meeting and to follow the committee’s guidance in exercising their voting rights effectively.
