PM AJK Announces Rs 3 Billion Endowment Fund to Tackle Unemployment

Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has announced to establish a 3 billion rupees endowment fund to eradicate unemployment from Azad Kashmir.

Despite economic challenges in Pakistan, the federal government has allocated a historic package of 23 billion rupees, emphasizing its commitment to the welfare of the people. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, and the establishment have been acknowledged for their support.

Highlighting the enduring bond between Kashmiris and Pakistan, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq reaffirmed that Kashmiris will never be left alone. He emphasized Pakistan’s strong and everlasting relationship with Kashmiris, extending across generations. Asserting the importance of strengthening the state’s system and thwarting disruptive forces, he reiterated the government’s resolve to prevent the spread of anarchy.

During a press conference in Muzaffarabad, attended by senior ministers including retired Colonel Waqar Ahmed Noor and government ministers Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, the Prime Minister emphasized the need for collective efforts to serve public and national interests. He urged the establishment of an action committee to ensure the success of the public movement.

Addressing corruption concerns, Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq stressed the need to investigate corruption in various sectors, including road infrastructure, health, education, electricity, and tourism budgets. He emphasized the utilization of the social protection endowment fund to support deserving classes in Azad Kashmir and reiterated plans to establish an endowment fund for unemployed youth.

Expressing regret over the loss of lives during protest movements, the Prime Minister assured continued service to the people of Azad Kashmir. Retired Colonel Waqar Ahmed Noor commended the federal government for its historic package and underscored the need to thwart elements seeking to destabilize the peaceful region.

Government Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore emphasized the importance of working together for state interests, emphasizing that success lies in collective efforts towards the welfare of the state.
