PIA Returns to Profit as Private Airlines Show Mixed Results
The airline has remained non-operational since 2025, according to the ministry.
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Ministry of Defence informed the National Assembly during the question hour session that Pakistan International Airlines recorded a profit of over Rs26.23 million in 2024 after suffering losses exceeding Rs192.59 million during 2022 and 2023.
The ministry also shared financial details of private airlines operating in the country over the past three years.
According to the official figures, Airblue earned a profit of more than Rs52.79 million during 2024 and 2025, while the airline faced losses exceeding Rs54.63 million in 2023.
AirSial posted a net profit of Rs53.75 million during 2024 and 2025, while Fly Jinnah earned a net profit of over Rs60.64 million in the same period.

The ministry further informed the House that SereneAir earned a net profit exceeding Rs608.4 million during 2023 and 2024. However, the airline has remained non-operational since 2025, according to the ministry.
