Petrol Price Rises by Rs6.88, Diesel by Rs5.62 Per Litre

ISLAMABAD: (Finance Reporter) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has determined the ex-depot prices of petroleum products for September 17, 2026, with petrol and high-speed diesel becoming more expensive amid elevated international oil prices.

According to an OGRA announcement, the increase has been linked primarily to higher petrol and diesel prices in the international market amid continued global uncertainty.

The price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs5.62 per litre, taking its new price to Rs421.45 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of petrol has gone up by Rs6.88 per litre, with the new price fixed at Rs391.22 per litre.

OGRA said the changes in petroleum product prices were made in view of Platts rates, premiums and other relevant factors.

The regulator added that crude oil and petroleum product prices have remained at elevated levels in the international market due to prevailing global uncertainty.
