ISLAMABAD: (Finance Reporter) – The federal government has announced an increase in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, with the new rates taking effect from midnight.
Under the latest adjustment, the price of petrol has been raised by Rs1.12 per litre, while high-speed diesel has become Rs1.11 per litre more expensive.
The revised rates will come into effect at midnight and remain applicable for the period specified in the government’s official notification.
Petroleum prices are reviewed regularly based on changes in international oil prices, exchange-rate movements and other relevant factors.
