PCB Announces Refund for Cancelled PSL Matches Tickets
PCB confirmed that ticket refunds for the cancelled matches will commence on March 12, providing relief to disappointed fans.
Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a proactive step to address concerns over the cancellation of two Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Rawalpindi by announcing a swift and transparent refund process for ticket holders.
In a statement released today, the PCB confirmed that ticket refunds for the cancelled matches will commence on March 12, providing relief to disappointed fans. The board assured that payments will be directly deposited into the bank accounts used for booking tickets, streamlining the refund procedure for spectators.
Furthermore, the PCB clarified that tickets purchased through corporate transactions will be refunded exclusively to the corporate bodies involved. This measure ensures that all stakeholders receive fair treatment in the refund process.
The decision to refund ticket money comes after inclement weather forced the cancellation of two highly anticipated PSL matches scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi. Despite the excitement surrounding the matches, persistent rain rendered the playing conditions unsuitable, prompting officials to call off the games in the interest of player safety and match integrity.
