County Ground: (Web Desk) – Pakistan registered their first victory of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a convincing 37-run win over the Netherlands at the County Ground on Saturday.
After being put in to bat, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 126/6 in their allotted 20 overs. Opener Gull Feroza anchored the innings with a brilliant unbeaten 63, while Ayesha Zafar chipped in with a valuable 32 to help the Green Shirts recover after early setbacks.
In reply, the Netherlands failed to cope with Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack and were bowled out for just 89, falling 37 runs short of the target.

Captain Fatima Sana led by example with the ball, claiming three wickets, while Ayesha Zafar completed an outstanding all-round performance by also taking three wickets to secure Pakistan’s first win of the tournament.
