UK Foreign Secretary Praises Pakistan’s Peace Efforts
Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations
ISLAMABAD – (Web Desk) : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Saturday to discuss regional peace and stability.
During the call, the UK foreign secretary appreciated Pakistan’s sustained efforts to promote peace and stability in the region, particularly its role in facilitating dialogue that led to the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States and Iran.
Senator Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue, diplomacy, and constructive engagement to resolve regional and international issues peacefully.
Both leaders agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on matters of mutual interest and regional importance.
