PESHAWAR: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s Under-16 football team suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against Russia in the UEFA U-16 tournament being held in Kazakhstan.
Russia led 1-0 at halftime, but Pakistan made an impressive comeback in the second half when Shahraiz Khan scored a header off a pass from Danish Masih to level the score. However, Pakistan was reduced to 10 players after a red card, allowing Russia to capitalize on the numerical advantage and net the winning goal.
