Pakistan to Tour England for Five-Match ODI Series Ahead of 2027 World Cup

Lahore: (Sports Reporter) – Pakistan will tour England in May 2027 to play a five-match One-Day International (ODI) series as part of both teams’ preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.

According to the schedule, the series will be played from May 15 to May 26, 2027, with matches taking place in Southampton, Manchester, Leeds, Chester-le-Street, and Cardiff.

The opening ODI will be held in Southampton on May 15, followed by the second match in Manchester on May 19, the third in Leeds on May 21, the fourth in Chester-le-Street on May 23, and the fifth and final ODI in Cardiff on May 26.

The series will serve as a key opportunity for both sides to fine-tune their squads ahead of the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, which is scheduled to be held from October 4 to November 21, 2027, in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.

Pakistan are currently ranked fifth in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings, while England are seventh. Pakistan last toured England for an ODI series in 2021, when the two teams played a three-match series.
