ISLAMABAD: (Sports Desk) – Bangladesh secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Uzbekistan in a thrilling five-set contest during the second match of the Zong 5G Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026.

Bangladesh started the match strongly, dominating the opening set with an attacking approach to claim a 25-20 win. However, Uzbekistan responded with determination in the second set, edging Bangladesh 28-26 after a tense battle to bring the match level at 1-1.

The third set remained closely fought, with Bangladesh showing composure in crucial moments to take a narrow 26-24 victory and move ahead once again.

Uzbekistan refused to give up and forced a deciding set by winning the fourth set 25-21, setting up a thrilling finish.
