Mpox Cases Rise to Two in Multan Hospital

MULTAN: The number of confirmed Mpox cases in Multan has increased after another patient tested positive at Nishtar Hospital, taking the total number of patients currently under treatment to two.

Hospital officials said a man from Muzaffargarh has also been admitted with suspected Mpox symptoms and is undergoing medical assessment.

Authorities confirmed that both patients who tested positive are being treated in a dedicated isolation ward within the hospital.

A spokesperson for Nishtar Hospital stated that all confirmed patients are receiving proper medical care and continuous monitoring.

The hospital administration added that strict health protocols are being followed to prevent any possible spread of the virus and ensure patient safety.
