Man burns wife and daughters for not serving food on time

A mother and her three little girls are fighting for their lives after a senseless act of cruelty inside their own home.

Lahore – (Web Desk) – In a deeply disturbing incident, a man brutally attacked his own wife and daughters by dousing them with petrol and setting them on fire — all because his wife was unable to serve him a meal on time. The tragic reason behind her delay was simply a gas outage in their area of Shahdara, near Lahore.

Punjab Women Protection Authority Chairperson, Hina Pervez Butt, personally visited Mayo Hospital in Lahore to meet with the injured mother and her daughters, showing solidarity and ensuring they receive the care they deserve.

Authorities confirmed that police have arrested the suspect. Investigations revealed that the man locked his family inside a room, poured petrol over them, and callously set them ablaze. The case has sent shockwaves through the community.

Hina Pervez Butt made it absolutely clear that there will be zero tolerance for such acts of cruelty. She stated firmly that anyone who commits such a barbaric act against their own family will face the full force of the law — without any leniency or concession.

She further assured that the affected mother and daughters will receive complete legal, medical, and psychological support throughout their recovery journey. The Women Protection Authority will closely monitor the situation, and hospital staff have been directed to ensure the best possible treatment for the survivors.

Earlier on Thursday, the man allegedly set his wife and three young daughters on fire in Lahore’s Shahdara area.
