Lahore court approves police officer’s physical remand in fraud case
Lahore court remands DSP in Rs33 million luxury car fraud case
Lahore court – (Web Desk) – In a major development, Lahore court on Monday approved a three-day physical remand of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Azhar Naveed Khan. He is accused in a fraud case worth over Rs30 million.
The DSP was presented before the duty judicial magistrate. The police had requested 10 days to question him and recover the money. The court ordered them to complete the interrogation and produce him again on March 18.
The case was registered at Defence-B police station after Hassam Khan filed a complaint. It is alleged that the DSP tricked a citizen in a financial deal involving luxury vehicles.
Reports also say the DSP was given police protocol while in custody.
According to the police, the complainant, Hassam, alleged that the officer obtained a large sum of money under the pretext of arranging two high-end vehicles. The complainant told investigators that a total of Rs33.3 million was transferred to the suspect as payment for the cars.

However, the vehicles were never delivered, prompting the citizen to approach authorities and file a complaint.
