Karachi Board Announces Class Nine Science Results for 2026
Class Nine Results: 53,849 Candidates Fail Karachi Board Examinations
KARACHI: (Web Desk) — The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the results of the 2026 annual examinations for Class 9 Science Group (Regular), recording an overall pass percentage of 69.56%.
Board Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput said ensuring transparency in the examination results remained one of the board’s top priorities. He congratulated students who passed their examinations.
Controller of Examinations Ahmed Khan Chutto said 180,054 students registered for the Science Group examinations, of whom 177,923 appeared. A total of 2,131 students remained absent.
According to the results, 123,757 candidates passed all their papers, while 21,999 students passed six papers. Another 11,006 candidates passed five papers, 7,431 passed four papers, 4,409 passed three papers, 3,101 passed two papers and 2,439 passed one paper.
The board reported that 53,849 candidates failed the examinations, while the overall pass percentage stood at 69.56%.
