HEC to intervene in resolving students degree issue: VC ISRA universityIslamabad and Karachi campuses are not providing graduated students data.

Islamabad Isra University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari expressed a strong reaction and has said that Islamabad and Karachi campuses are not providing the data of the graduated students, so that the main campus is not able to award degrees to the students. In this connection he has appealed to the Higher Education Commission for intervention.

He said that they are ready to fully cooperate to secure the future of the students and to issue them degrees if both the campuses are ready to give the data of the students to the head office. Otherwise the HEC should collect this data and solve the problem of the children.

In his statement issued here yesterday, the vice chancellor said that he wants to make it clear to the students of Karachi and Islamabad campuses that on August 24, 2022, in the presence of the chairman of the Higher Education Commission and the other three vice chancellors, the representatives of Islamabad and Karachi campuses (Waliullah Qazi and Hameedullah Qazi) were asked to send all the records of their graduating students to the main campus in Hyderabad so that degrees could be issued to these students.

They said that both campuses (Islamabad and Karachi) has not yet provided student data.Vice Chancellor Isra University Professor Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari has requested the Chairman HEC that if Islamabad and Karachi campuses do not send the records of their students, then they should provide the records of the students to the Higher Education Commission so that we can immediately send degrees to all the passed out students.

Along with this, the university administration also appeals to the students that if these campuses do not provide their records to the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan or Isra University Hyderabad, then they should submit their 5-year transcripts issued by their respective campuses.

Students are informed to send the original transcript along with convocation form to Isra University Hyderabad so that we can award your degrees in this manner.

He said that Isra University Hyderabad has never been slow in awarding degrees to students but Islamabad and Karachi campuses have always tried to obstruct the convocation. Isri University Hyderabad has always maintained its traditions and awarded degrees to its students by conducting timely convocations.

The management is always with the students and their parents and is doing everything possible for their degrees.
