Islamabad-Hamid’s Arrest to Expose Facts Behind Faizabad Sit-in, Rana Sana , Hamid’s Arrest, Says It Will Boost Army’s Image,Rana Sanaullah, Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs, has welcomed the arrest of former spy chief Faiz Hamid, saying it will enhance the Pakistan Army’s goodwill and respect. He stated that the court martial process will proceed according to military law.

Sanaullah linked Hamid’s arrest to the Faizabad sit-in, alleging that the former general played a role in manipulating people to stage the protest. He expressed confidence that the inquiry will reveal all the facts surrounding the incident.

Commenting on the charges mentioned by the ISPR in connection with today’s arrest of the former spy chief, the politico said that the Supreme Court gave its ruling on the petition filed by the housing society owner and the inquiry was also held into the allegations against the former spy chief.

“Multiple irregularities must have been found in this regard,” he said, asking to sticking to the ISPR’s statement in the matter.
