Gold Rate Today Per Tola Pakistan Drops as Markets React to Global Dip
Pakistan – (Web Desk) – The gold rate today per tola Pakistan declined sharply on Saturday, with 24-karat gold settling at Rs473,162 after a drop of Rs2,200 from the previous trading day’s rate of Rs475,362, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The fall was also felt in the 10-gram category. The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams came down by Rs1,886, settling at Rs405,660 compared to Rs407,546 earlier. At the same time, 22-karat gold per 10 grams slipped by Rs1,729 to reach Rs371,868, down from Rs373,597.
Global markets played a clear role in the local price drop. International gold prices fell by $22 per ounce, landing at $4,508 from the previous level of $4,530. Whenever global rates move, Pakistan’s local sarafa markets usually follow in the same direction.
Silver, however, told a different story. Both local and international silver prices held steady on the day. The per-tola silver rate remained at Rs8,034, while the 10-gram rate stayed at Rs6,887. In the international market, silver held firm at $75.50 per ounce.
Buyers and investors are advised to keep an eye on both local sarafa rates and international market trends before making any gold or silver purchases.
