The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs4,600. This brought the new rate down to Rs427,436. The update came from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Gold sold in smaller amounts also became cheaper. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,944. It is now priced at Rs366,457.
Similarly, 22-karat gold saw a fall too. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went down by Rs3,615. It is now being sold for Rs335,931.
This drop was not just a local trend. The whole world felt it too. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $46. It is now trading at $4,050 per ounce.

Also, 10 grams of silver became cheaper too. The price fell by Rs53. It now stands at Rs5,408.
