Gold Prices Continue to Decline in Pakistan and Globally

Local Market Sees a Drop of Rs1,000 per Tola

The price of gold in Pakistan continued to decline on Wednesday, following global market trends.

In the local market, the cost of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs1,000, bringing it to Rs282,200, as per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also dropped by Rs857, now standing at Rs241,941.

On the global front, gold prices fell by $10, reaching $2,727 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.

However, silver prices in Pakistan remained steady, holding at Rs3,430 per tola.
