ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – In a remarkable achievement, four women from Azad Kashmir have successfully cleared the Central Superior Services CSS 2025 examination, while no male candidate from the region qualified this year. The successful candidates—Aniqa Fatima, Aiman Asad, Waleejah Nisar, and Saba Shah Rom—have set a new benchmark, highlighting the growing role of women in competitive fields.
Among them, Aiman Asad’s journey stands out, as she achieved success with the unwavering support of her mother after losing her father. Aniqa Fatima, hailing from Kotli Fatehpur Thakiala, has been recommended for the Pakistan Customs Service, while Aiman Asad from Muzaffarabad is set to join as Assistant Commissioner Inland Revenue. Waleejah Nisar from Jhelum Valley has been allocated to the Commerce and Trade Group, and Saba Shah Rom from Rawalakot Bangoin will serve in the Office Management Group.

The results were announced by the Federal Public Service Commission, revealing an overall success rate of just 2.67 percent. Out of 12,792 candidates who appeared, only 355 passed the written examination, and 170 were ultimately recommended for appointment, including 86 women and 84 men.
This year’s results were slightly delayed due to pending decisions regarding vacancies. A total of 327 positions will be filled, including both new and previously unfilled posts, across key civil services such as the Pakistan Administrative Service, Police Service, Foreign Service, Inland Revenue Service, and Office Management Group.
Officials confirmed that final appointments will be made based on merit, candidate preferences, and suitability, in accordance with the government’s quota policy.
