Four Terrorists Killed in Dera Ismail Khan Operation

Dera Ismail Khan: (Special Reporter) – Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security sources said.
According to the sources, security personnel kept the suspected militants under close surveillance before launching the operation and targeting them.
A significant quantity of weapons, ammunition and Afghan currency was recovered from the slain militants, sources added.
Security officials said counterterrorism operations were continuing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam framework. The government has repeatedly stated that it remains committed to eliminating militant groups operating in the country.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for carrying out the operation and commended their professionalism.
Naqvi said the forces had foiled what he described as the designs of “Indian-sponsored terrorists”. The allegation represents the Pakistani government’s stated position and was not independently verified in the information available for the report.
