Both countries agreed to hold Bilateral Political Consultations later this year
ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) – Croatian Foreign Minister Dr Gordan Grlic Radman on Thursday said Croatia enjoys excellent relations with Pakistan and sees significant potential to further expand cooperation, particularly in economic and business sectors.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received the Croatian foreign minister and his delegation at the Foreign Office during Dr Radman’s first official visit to Pakistan.
The two sides discussed measures to deepen bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, labour mobility, visa facilitation, education, defence, climate change, tourism, infrastructure and information technology.
They also exchanged views on Pakistan’s cooperation with the European Union, as well as regional and global developments of mutual interest.
Recognising connectivity as vital for sustainable development, regional stability and global economic integration, the two foreign ministers explored possibilities for cooperation between the ports of Pakistan and Croatia.
Both countries agreed to hold Bilateral Political Consultations later this year or in early 2027.
