Court Reserves Verdict On Rajab Butt’s Acquittal Plea Until November 11
Additional Sessions Court Defers Decision On Rajab Butt’s Acquittal Application
LAHORE: (Showbiz Desk) – An Additional Sessions Court on Monday reserved its verdict on an acquittal application filed by YouTuber Rajab Butt and five other accused in the Ayesha Sharafat rape case.
The verdict was deferred due to the judge’s retirement and is now scheduled to be announced on November 11.
Advocate Ali Ashfaq, representing Rajab Butt and the other accused, had filed the application seeking their acquittal in the case.
The court has already heard arguments from both sides before reserving its decision.
The case was initiated after Ayesha Sharafat approached the court with a complaint following Nawab Town Police’s decision to declare Rajab Butt innocent.
The court’s upcoming decision will determine the outcome of the acquittal application filed by the accused.
