TikToker Muhammad Ansar Denies Responsibility For Stampede That Injured Fourteen
DASKA: (News Desk) – TikToker Patlo, whose real name is Muhammad Ansar, has released a video statement following his arrest in connection with a stampede at his mehndi ceremony that left 14 people injured.
In a video shared on his TikTok account, Patlo appealed for justice and denied responsibility for the incident, saying he had obtained the required no-objection certificate (NOC) and permission before organising the event.
Speaking emotionally, he questioned why he was being held responsible for the incident, saying that a stampede had occurred among the public and asking what fault was his.
Patlo further said that anyone wishing to register a first information report (FIR) against him could do so, adding that he was willing to present himself before the authorities.
Breaking into tears during the video, he also claimed that he was unable to walk.
Earlier, a stampede occurred at a stadium on Daska Road during Patlo’s mehndi ceremony, leaving 14 people injured.
According to reports, a large crowd had gathered outside the venue ahead of a prize draw scheduled as part of the event. The situation reportedly turned chaotic when the gates opened, triggering a rush that resulted in several injuries.
Thousands of people had reportedly travelled from different areas to attend the ceremony.
