“Ministry of Foreign Affairs Condemns Prolonged Israeli Aggression on Gaza, Citing Civilian Targeting and Use of Prohibited Weapons”

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the genocidal war waged by Israel against our people in the Gaza Strip for the 63rd day in a row, and whose targeting of civilians and displaced persons is expanding day after day, including targeting shelter centers such as schools, hospitals, and associations, including those affiliated with the United Nations, and the use of…  Internationally prohibited weapons, including white phosphorus, were used against these centers to evacuate them from the displaced and push them to flee again and again towards the southern Gaza Strip.

This is in light of the occupation forces storming UNRWA schools and other international organizations sheltering the displaced, in the ugliest deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe imposed on civilians in the Gaza Strip.  In light of the deprivation of Palestinian families of their basic human needs, such as electricity, water, lunch, medicine, and fuel, 90% of families in the northern Gaza Strip spend their entire day without any food, as the World Food Program said, noting that the Israeli bombing continues around the clock and includes all areas of the Gaza Strip, including…  He emphasizes daily that there is no safe place in the Strip.

The Ministry also strongly condemns the terrorism of the occupation army and armed settler militias in the occupied West Bank, as happened in Al-Far’a camp this morning, and the attack carried out by terrorist settler elements wearing military uniforms on the village of Khallet Al-Dabaa in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

The Ministry calls on the UN Security Council to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards what Palestinian civilians are exposed to and vote in favor of the draft resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, protecting civilians, and ensuring access to their basic humanitarian needs in a sustainable manner. It stresses that the failure of the draft resolution in the Security Council means continued international silence on the killing of civilians.  The Palestinians and the deepening of the humanitarian catastrophe among them.
