CCP Approves Secure Logistics Group’s Acquisition of Trax Online

Secure Logistics Acquires Trax Online to Boost E-Commerce Delivery

ISLAMABAD: The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) has granted approval for the 100% acquisition of Trax Online (Pvt.) Ltd. by Secure Logistics Group Ltd. (SLGL), following a comprehensive review under the provisions of the Competition Act, 2010.

The transaction, formalized through a Share Purchase Agreement, had been submitted to the CCP as a pre-merger application. The Commission identified the relevant product market as “Courier and E-Commerce Logistics Services” in Pakistan.

According to CCP, the deal constitutes a conglomerate merger with no horizontal or vertical overlaps between the operations of SLGL and Trax Online. It concluded that the acquisition would not create market dominance or reduce competition in the logistics sector.

Secure Logistics Group Ltd. is a publicly listed company engaged in long-haul and medium-haul logistics, fleet management, asset tracking, and security services. Meanwhile, Trax Online specializes in warehousing and door-to-door delivery, particularly for Pakistan’s rapidly growing e-commerce market.
