Bugti Urges Collective Action Against Violence, Extremism
Quetta-(Ghulam Yaseen)- Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized the need for national unity against terrorism and violence, addressing the Wahdat Ummah Conference on Sunday.
Bugti condemned attempts to divide Pakistan through conspiracies, linguistic and religious violence, and terrorism in the name of nationalism and religion. He stressed that uneven development is not a justification for violence.
“The state alone has the authority to handle weapons, and we must collectively raise our voices against oppression,” Bugti said.
The Chief Minister praised the conference organizers for promoting national and inter-faith harmony.
Separately, Bugti visited the Trauma Center Civil Hospital to inquire about the condition of those injured in a terrorist incident in Dhaka. He ensured compensation and satisfactory medical facilities for the victims.
Provincial ministers, health officials, and law enforcement personnel accompanied Bugti during the hospital visit.
This event highlights Bugti’s commitment to combating terrorism and promoting unity in Balochistan.
