Pakistan Army Will Not Fall, Says Chief

Rawalpindi: In a recent address, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir assured that the Pakistan Army would never be defeated as long as the nation, especially the youth, stands with them. Speaking to students, he emphasized the importance of focusing on their education and becoming leaders for the future of Pakistan.

General Munir highlighted the strong bond between the Pakistani people, particularly the youth, and the military, asserting that attempts by anti-state elements to create a rift between the army and the public would always fail. He encouraged the students to take pride in their religion, culture, and traditions.

In his message to the youth, the Army Chief stated, “As long as the nation, especially the youth, stands together, the Pakistan Army will never lose. We fight as comrades, and our national identity is our top priority.”

Addressing the issue of extremist ideologies, particularly the Khawarij, General Munir firmly stated that Pakistan would not allow such outdated thinking to be imposed on the country. He pointed out that the Constitution of Pakistan begins with the acknowledgment that sovereignty belongs only to Allah, questioning the validity of the Khawarij’s claims about Sharia law.

He further affirmed that the brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan continue to stand firm against terrorists, likening them to an iron wall. The Army Chief condemned the actions of these extremists, who, according to him, misinterpret Islam and violate its teachings. He made it clear that those who surrender to the state would receive mercy.
