Angoor Adda Mortar Attack 2026 Leaves Five Civilians Injured
Angoor Adda Mortar Attack 2026: Children Among the Victims as Afghan Side Opens Fire on Pakistani Homes
Angoor Adda – (Web Desk) – The Angoor Adda mortar attack 2026 has once again brought pain and fear to the peaceful families living along Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan. A mortar shell, fired from the Afghan side, directly hit the home of two local men — Karim Khan and Rehmatullah — in the border area near Angoor Adda, South Waziristan. The blast left five people seriously injured, including four young children and one woman.
The injured children are just 13, 10, 8, and 3 years old — kids who were simply at home when the shell struck. All five victims were rushed to DHQ Hospital Wana for urgent medical care.
People living in the area are heartbroken. Families who have already been through so much pain are now asking why their children keep paying the price. This is not the first time it has happened. Just a few days before this attack, three more civilians were wounded in the same area when firing came from across the Afghan border without any reason or warning.
Local residents strongly condemned the attack and called on the authorities to take strong steps to protect innocent lives.
The Afghan Taliban, along with their linked militant group known as the “Khawarij,” have repeatedly chosen civilian homes as their targets. Their aim is clear — to spread fear and create chaos among ordinary people.
However, the Pakistan Army responded quickly and with full force. Troops fired back at the Afghan positions using both light and heavy weapons. After the Pakistan Army’s strong retaliation, the Afghan Taliban abandoned their posts and ran.
The people of South Waziristan are demanding lasting peace and real protection for their families. These are not soldiers — they are mothers, children, and elderly men who deserve to live without fear.
