Ambassador Mumtaz Explores Agriculture and Animal Health Collaboration at Paris Expo

PARIS: Ambassador of Pakistan to France, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, represented Pakistan at the 61st edition of Salon International de l’Agriculture 2025 in Paris, a major event featuring ministers of agriculture from around the world.

During her visit, Ambassador Baloch held key meetings with French Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Année Genevard, and Dr. Emmanuelle Soubeyran, Director General of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH). The discussions focused on potential collaborations in the fields of agriculture and animal health, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and fostering innovation.

As part of her tour, Ambassador Baloch engaged with French and European experts and entrepreneurs to explore partnerships in various areas such as seed technologies, agritech innovation, sustainable farming practices, peri-urban agriculture development, and genetic innovations in livestock breeding.
