PK currency continued to stabilize by 42 paisa against Dollar
Karachi: (Business Reporter) Pakistani currency continued to stabilize on the first working day of the week, as it made fresh recovery against the US dollar in the inter-bank market.
According to Pakistan’s central bank data, the local currency appreciated by 42 paisa against the greenback and was being traded at Rs219.5. The rupee had closed at Rs219.92 on Friday.
Furthermore with the latest gains, the rupee has cumulatively recovered by Rs20.44 from its record high of Rs239.94.
Meanwhile Bull also returned to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as the benchmark KSE-100 index gained over 300 points in intraday trade.
