New Vice Chancellor appointed of Iqra University

Karachi: (Staff Reporter) Acting Sindh Governor Agha Siraj Khan Durrani appointed Iram Lakhani as Vice Chancellor of Iqra University, Karachi for the next four years as per the rules.
The Shaman Education Society forwarded three names for the post of vice chancellor including Iram Lakhani, Naveed Lakhani and Ahsan Murad to Sindh Governor.
According to the source, Governor Sindh, who is also the patron of Iqra University, approved Iram Lakhani as a Vice Chancellor out of three names. It is worth mentioning that Iram Lakhani has been the vice chancellor of Iqra University in the past too.
Furthermore Founding Chancellor and Chairman of Iqra University Hunaid Lakhani were re-appointed vice chancellor of the University just a day before his death on September 8.
Newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Iqra University Iram Lakhani is the sister of Hunaid Lakhani and co-founder of the University.
