PMD Karachi Forecast: November Temperatures to Stay Above Normal
Day temperatures may touch 38°C by Friday, while cooler nights have started and November is also expected to stay warmer than normal.
Karachi – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – The PMD Karachi forecast says hot and dry weather will stay in the city until Friday. The Pakistan Meteorological Department shared this update in a statement on Monday. It also said the heat is likely to remain strong during these days.
According to the Met Office, daytime temperatures may rise to 38°C by Friday. This means people in Karachi should expect warm and dry afternoons for most of the week.
After Friday, the weather pattern may change a little. However, the mercury is expected to settle between 34°C and 36°C. So the daytime heat will not disappear quickly, even if the weather looks different.
There is some good news for residents. Cooler nights have already begun in the city. Night temperatures are expected to fall to around 22°C in the coming days. This may bring some relief in the evening and early morning.
Even with cooler nights, the department said the overall temperature pattern is likely to stay warmer than normal. In simple words, the city may feel hotter than what people usually expect at this time of year.
The Met Office also shared its outlook for November. It said Karachi is likely to see above-normal temperatures during the month. Daytime temperatures may range between 33°C and 35°C.
Night-time readings are expected to remain between 19°C and 22°C throughout November. This is also higher than what the city normally sees.
The numbers make the difference clear. The normal daytime temperature for Karachi in November is 32.6°C. The usual night-time temperature is 17.7°C. The forecast suggests both day and night temperatures may stay above these monthly averages.
For many people, this means winter may feel late this year. Mild weather usually arrives around this time, but the current forecast points to a slower change.
Residents can take a few simple steps to stay comfortable. Drinking enough water is important, especially during the afternoon. It is also wise to avoid long hours in the sun when the heat is at its peak.
Children, older people, and outdoor workers should take extra care. Light clothes and short breaks in shade can help during the day.
The weather may feel a little better at night, but the days will remain warm. People who travel or work outside should plan their time carefully.
The department is expected to keep watching the weather system and share updates if anything changes. Residents are advised to follow official updates for the latest information.
For now, the PMD Karachi forecast is clear. Expect hot and dry days until Friday, slightly cooler nights, and a warmer than normal November ahead.
