Seven Wedding Guests Killed, 60 Injured in RYK Crash

RAHIM YAR KHAN: (Staff Reporter) – At least seven wedding guests, including women and children, were killed and around 60 others injured when a tractor trolley carrying a wedding party collided with a trailer near Rukanpur in Rahim Yar Khan.

According to local authorities, the tragic accident occurred after the trailer driver allegedly acted negligently and failed to exercise proper care while driving.

The tractor trolley was carrying members of a wedding party when it crashed into the trailer, leaving several passengers dead and dozens injured.

Rescue teams rushed to the scene following the incident and transported the injured to nearby hospitals for emergency treatment. Hospital administrations and medical teams were placed on alert to cope with the large number of casualties.

Rahim Yar Khan Deputy Commissioner Zaheer Anwar expressed deep grief over the loss of lives and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.

The deputy commissioner also directed hospital authorities to ensure that all injured victims received immediate and necessary medical treatment.

Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the collision, while further details about the victims and condition of the injured are awaited.
