Mackay: (Sports Desk) – Australia produced a stunning bowling display to dismiss Bangladesh for just 64 on the opening day of the second Test in Mackay on Saturday.
Mitchell Starc led the attack with a brilliant six-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 6-12 after exploiting the movement and seam on offer. Captain Pat Cummins provided strong support, claiming 3-25.
Bangladesh struggled throughout their innings, with Shoriful Islam emerging as their top scorer with only 14 runs. The collapse came after Bangladesh had shocked Australia in the first Test in Darwin, securing a nine-wicket victory.
