Pakistan’s Ehsan Mehsud Wins Gold in Thailand Taekwondo

Peshawar: (Sports Desk) – Pakistani taekwondo player Ehsanullah Mehsud has won a gold medal at the Thailand International Taekwondo Championship after defeating a Sri Lankan opponent in the final.

Ehsan Mehsud began his campaign with a victory over a Kazakhstan player in the opening round and advanced to the final after defeating an Indian competitor in the semi-final.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Ehsanullah thanked the people of Pakistan for their prayers and support, saying he dedicates the gold medal to the nation.

Member of the Provincial Assembly Asif Mehsud congratulated the athlete, saying Ehsan’s achievement has brought recognition to Pakistan and Waziristan on the international stage. He also announced a job opportunity for the gold medalist.
