ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) – The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has approved an increase of 475 MBBS seats in government medical colleges across Punjab, providing more opportunities for aspiring medical students.
Following the council’s approval, the number of MBBS seats in Punjab’s public medical colleges has increased from 3,476 to 3,951. The move is expected to help accommodate a larger number of students seeking admission to medical education.
With the latest increase, the total number of seats in Punjab’s government medical and dental colleges has reached 4,241, reflecting efforts to expand access to higher medical education in the province.
