Operation Shaban Kills Four More Militants as Balochistan Operations Continue Successfully

RAWALPINDI: (Special Reporter) – Security forces have continued their coordinated offensive under Operation Shaban in Balochistan, where four more militants were killed during the latest phase of the campaign, according to security sources. The joint operation is being carried out by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps Balochistan and police, with both aerial and ground actions targeting militant hideouts.

Officials said the ongoing operation has dealt a major blow to militant networks active in the province. With the latest development, the number of militants killed during Operation Shaban has risen to 83.

Security sources further revealed that since July 5, a total of 121 militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations conducted across Balochistan. They emphasized that the security campaign will continue until militant groups are completely dismantled from the region.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for their latest successes, calling the achievements of the joint operation highly commendable. He praised the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and other law enforcement agencies for their professionalism, coordination and dedication in carrying out the campaign.

Naqvi said the nation values the sacrifices and effective actions of the security forces, adding that their sustained operations have successfully disrupted militant plans. He reiterated the government’s resolve to continue joint operations until militancy is eradicated.
