PHF Announces Officials for PM National Women’s U-21 Hockey Championship 2026

Muhammad Shafiq Bhatti of Lahore has been appointed as the Tournament Director,

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced the officials for the Prime Minister National Women’s Under-21 Hockey Championship 2026, scheduled to take place in Islamabad from July 2 to July 8.
The seven-day championship will be held at the Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium, where teams representing provincial units and affiliated associations from across Pakistan will compete for the national title.

According to the PHF, Muhammad Shafiq Bhatti of Lahore has been appointed as the Tournament Director, while Rahat Khan, also from Lahore, will serve as the Assistant Tournament Director.

Muhammad Waqas Sheikh of Sukkur has been named Event Coordinator, with Habib Ur Rehman (Lahore) appointed as Coordinator and Khawar Javed (Gojra) as Assistant Coordinator.

The federation has also appointed Tanzeela Amir Cheema (Lahore) as Organising Secretary and Chand Parveen (Lahore) as Assistant Organising Secretary.

For the officiating panel, Benish Hayat of Lahore will perform the duties of Umpires Manager throughout the championship.

The PHF said the tournament is aimed at promoting women’s hockey in Pakistan and providing emerging young players with a competitive platform to showcase their talent at the national level.
