Maryam Nawaz Ashura Message: Tribute to Imam Hussain RA

Punjab – (Web Desk) – Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif delivered a heartfelt Maryam Nawaz Ashura message on Youm-e-Ashur, paying deep respect to Hazrat Imam Hussain RA and the martyrs of Karbala.

She described Hazrat Imam Hussain RA as a true reflection of the Holy Prophet PBUH’s character and a leader of a great moral revolution. She also saluted the patience and strength of Hazrat Bibi Zainab RA.

Maryam Nawaz said that love for Ahl-e-Bayt RA and the martyrs of Karbala is not just part of a Muslim’s faith — it flows through every believer’s veins.

She highlighted that the tragedy of Karbala gave new life to the moral conscience of Islamic civilization. The sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain RA, the beloved son of Hazrat Fatimah RA, was for the protection of Islam and its values.

The Chief Minister said that the event of Karbala is a timeless source of inspiration for justice and courage. Hazrat Imam Hussain RA presented the finest example of political and moral ethics for all of humanity.

She added that the name of Imam Hussain RA is a symbol of bravery for every oppressed soul in the world. Karbala is not just a war story — it is a powerful spectacle of spiritual strength and sacrifice.

Maryam Nawaz called on people to reaffirm their commitment to the teachings of Imam Hussain RA. She said his martyrdom will continue to inspire oppressed people in every age and every era.
